Or, this Vienna home with 10, 10, 9 schools. But, not as walkable and a longer commute time.

NOVACENTRIC, that first house is so cute! It will probably sell by the time I'm looking to buy, but I will definitely explore the neighborhood and add the area to my list. Looks like an easy 20-25 minute Metro commute to downtown DC as well.

What is the yard space like for reasonably priced homes in that zip? I was looking at McLean/Falls Church because the lot sizes seem quite generous there.

Typical lot in that price range in Arlington/22205 will be .15-.20/acre, compared to .25-.40/acre in McLean/22101 or Falls Church/22043. Falls Church City/22046 might be in the middle.

Yeah, ours is .15--but our backyard is huge. Not as much space on the sides, but enough to have a decent buffer.
