Took a drive the other day down Fort Valley drive from Strausburg to Luray and it was an impressive ride, absolutely beautiful. But I had to wonder, what is that route like in the winter? There are many sharp turns and steep hills. Being that it appears not many people live along that stretch, is that road neglected after a winter storm?

I drove by there last fall. It was absolutely gorgeous when the leaves were all red and bright.

I can't imagine how beautiful it is during the fall. Other than having to drive the mountain part of the road during the winter, would love to buy property there. I love how secluded it is, that wouldn't bother me a bit. There also appears to be an awesome trout stream which runs along the entire Fort Valley Dr.

I dont know about that road specifically but the roads in that are closed fairly regularly in the winter because of the road conditions.
