May be soon moving to Northern Virginia to work in Leesburg. My SO will be working in DC or just outside of it, so a location that is convenient to commute by car to Leesburg, but close to a Metro to commute into DC/Arlington is ideal.

There is Metro access in Reston, also. It's six of one/ half a dozen of the other. One's going to be closer to Leesburg, and one's going to be closer to DC. Personally, I would think you'd want to be closer to work for the person driving.....but that's just me.

Agreed. Reston is a better fit for the OP, and more housing options too for the budget
