When I lived in Manassas, I found that route to be stress-relieving.

You're looking at a commute of an hour easily. According to Google Maps (which I find to be very accurate), depending on traffic, it can take up to 90 minutes.

Also, there's a bus that can take you to Tysons from Burke in the HOT Lanes in about 30 minutes: http://www.fairfaxcounty.gov/connect...ay2015/495.pdf.
That does sound confusing lol but if it is a much stressful and quicker route I wouldn't mind trying it! Thanks

I think the express lanes are out then. That's too high a cost to pay for me anyway.

Take the commuter bus:

OmniRide and Metro Direct Schedules/06

Scroll to the bottom, they have Woodbridge - Tysons routes, looks like four in the morning and four returning in the evening. I think it's $5-$6 each way, but you don't have to drive and will get to take advantage of the Express Lanes via the bus. The bus appears to estimate the commute at 54 minutes from the Tysons area to the Old Bridge/123 commuter lot.
