Warmest winter I've ever seen in my life. Even growing up in Texas, temps this warm in February would've been weird. (It was over 90 there last week, by the way.)

The question is: Is it safe to pack away the woolens and the snow shovels? Is it time to cave to the wifely request to mow the winter beard? Because if we get 20 degrees in March, I'll be kicking myself. Remember, it snowed on St. Patrick's Day a few years ago (2014, I think).

It is always the right time to cave to wifely requests.

Then came the line of thunderstorms bringing what may have brought a ton of hail in Stafford County; I was driving northbound on route 1 after the storms passed by and I saw that looks like snow in this 65-degree weather.

We have some tulips blooming in the backyard, which seems crazy since it's February. I guess they'll die when it gets cold again.

Perhaps, but I see one day on the extended forecast where the temps drop into the 20s overnight. And I'd bet we'll have more before March is done. Can the flowers handle that?
