Wondering if anyone knows of any decent areas either in Alexandria (Old Town/King Street/Braddock Road) or DC neighborhoods that have options to buy that aren't co-op? I don't think we want to go this route but many condos seem to be co-op in the city. Thanks for any input on this!

Not sure what you're asking. Condos are different from co-ops, and there aren't very many co-ops in the DC area.

Thanks for your response. It could be the one particular area we have looked, Southwest Waterfront, where the realtor gave the impression that most around there were co-op, which we don't want. Good to know that this isn't really the case!
