depending on the hours you're on the road, it could be a breeze (your coworkers would probably be jealous, as most commute quite a long distance around here).

right now (3pm), would take 20-25 minutes or so.

You need to take a look at a metro map. You would have to get on yellow or blue line train, take to a transfer station to get on the silver line. I would estimate this taking a heck of a lot longer than driving.

agreed. from location to location, probably not worth it. *maybe* on a bus

Instead of WMATA Metro, take Fairfax Connector 494 (Lorton/Springfield to Tysons) or 495 (Burke to Tysons). You can get there faster, and cheaper.
