I wear a hat and sunglasses quite often, and one of my hats is a nice New Era from 2014. They were having some bad years and I bought it from AMZN for 9 bucks. Fast forward 8 years, and it is a great conversation starter. Shared a taxi with a guy and his gf over the weekend, next thing you know he tells me he is from LA and we were talking about George Allen. Lots of sports connections between DC and LA. But I have also been approached by people that are simply outraged by the PC crowd and their desire to rewrite history. And a few have made me cash offers, and they don't even speak English and have never been in the States. All this, and I'm 8600 miles from the DMV near Bangkok. Anyone having similar experiences with their Redskins gear? And apparently, Chicago Black Hawk stuff is more desirable than Calvin Klein.

too much Redskin gear has been sold for it to be worth much.

Since you’re near Bangkok that’s probably why, not as much of it 8600 miles away. Around DC metro, plenty of it.

Good point, and prices at the New Era store are double US prices, due to crazy taxes (luxury\
import). It is unusual that I went years without any comments on it, and suddenly "mister, you sell hat?.". Maybe I should wait for a complete ban. .then it will be even more popular.

On ebay there's not much demand for Redskins clothing, there's just simply tons and tons of it out there - I've found that there's more demand for Redskins vintage memorabilia and helmets - Before the name change you could buy a Redskins authentic helmet for 250 dollars, now they are 400 or more. And Redskin mini helmets used to sell for 30, now youre lucky if you could get one for 50.

If Dan Snyder wasn't too cheap to pay the trademark fees, you could have a helmet with the curly R, similar to the sideline cap Joe Gibbs used to wear. Would at least connect the old to the new. I'm not a WFT/Redskin fan, but that would be one of the better cap logos in the league if it was kept relevant with Redtails or Redwolves.

For all intents and purposes, Dan Snyder ruined what was one of the most valuable sports franchises on Earth.
