Money Magazine: Montclair, Manassas Park among best places to live | InsideNova

I was surprised Manassas park is on the list personally, but hey whatever floats your boat...

Manassas Park has really changed over the last 10-15 years. The newer east side of Rt 28 really is a nice area. I can't see how either area ranked so high but I tend to believe these media sources like to spread the wealth around each time they throw the rankings out.

Come on. This is ridiculous. I can think of at least 3 places in Prince William County alone that are better than Manassas Park or Montclair. That's a ridiculous list. Manassas Park has so-so schools, just dropped their bond rating and has more crime than a lot of the surrounding areas. Doesn't make a lot of sense in my opinion (that's not to say it's a horrible place, but there are certainly better places).

Well - there are essentially 'two' Manassas Parks as the OP said. The newer side is very nice with even a golf course tucked into it.
