Define what you mean by "Fairfax"--the county or city?

Tell me about it. I am getting a job in the DC / Virginia Area and rents are outrageous. It's very overwhelming. I saw a few apartments that were 800 a month in manassas. Try looking in that area. It's not too far from fairfax. Good luck

Try homesdatabase.com and search area Fairfax County. There are 3 rentals in your price range. They will be rooms in a townhouse, most with private bath and one had a kitchen in the basement. There was also one in Ashburn in a townhouse. That is in Loudoun County. Always search by County when you do not know the area, it is quicker and you can use the map to guesstimate how far you will be from your place of employment. Also try Prince William County.

True, but this is one of those questions that people are bound to ask fairly often so there's no harm in bumping a thread like this so the next guy will have ideas of where to look.
