Freddie Mac? I would only put about 2 trillion Dollars worth of the blame on them.

With all of the financial turmoil, you should market yourself as a forensic accountant. I know Treasury is looking for those types.

Just be careful with them, lots of turmoil. My friend was working IT for them and then got a pink slip in a RIF, he was only there a few months though.

If you have security clearances, Northrop Grumman is hiring.

Heh. Northrop is always hiring. So are all their competitors. There's definitely a thriving job market if you have a clearance. Not sure how much longer that will last for though and, if I were a betting woman, I would put more faith in smaller companies who's core competencies lie outside the scope of engineering/defense and lean more towards intelligence. I think that the new administration will be shifting their focus from DoD to the intelligence/IT sector. But, that's just my opinion.

LOL, this is so true, I totally agree with you. The smaller companies are going to see a lot of growth.

By the way, if anyone is desperate they had a story on the news last night. Maryland needs a few hundred people to shell crabs, and only 15 people showed up to apply for jobs. Guaranteed employment for anyone willing to do menial labor.
