Oh, that does sound appealling. I can read all the plaques and go around saying "Bully! Bully!" Plus I can walk over the Key Bridge, and look over at the boats and kayakers. That's entertaining.

BTW, yes I'm starting to feel better. Just needed to do something a little different, I guess.

Grandkids?! That's the ticket, go be with them. Take a grandkid or two out for ice cream. Kids always cheer me up, they always make me laugh. They also teach us how to live in the moment and be happy right in that spot at that time. Dogs and horses can do that for me too, but kids do it best.

Head over to Occoquan and enjoy a piece of pie at Mom's Apple Pie Company. Then browse through some of the quaint shops.

::sigh::

That suggestion makes me a little sad that the closest Sonic is in Winchester.

I think it's downright cruel of them to advertise their deliciousness here when the closest Sonic is an hour's drive away. So there.

I know several people in my neighborhood who drive out there fairly often just for Sonic. If they opened one up anywhere in Fairfax or Loudoun, they would make a killing.

I miss Sonic after living in areas that had it. We too drove to Winchester awhile back to get our Sonic fix, but there is good news... more Sonics coming to the area (see article)
