I moved here from MI and I am currently looking to buy a condo. I live in Rosslyn right now near wilson and quinn streets. .

I'm looking at condos in Rosslyn and ballston and was wondering what people thought of these 2 areas and if one was better then the other

let me know your thoughts thanks

I live in between the two in the Clarendon area. Rosslyn (as you may well know) is often referred to as sterile and has a much higher concentration of office buildings as opoosed to residential. However, this will be changing over the next few years with the addition of several new high rises around the Metro. The main benefit I see with Rosslyn is that it is right across the Key Bridge from Georgetown.

I personally prefer Ballston over Rosslyn but within a few years I might have a different opinion. As of now there is a higher concentration of bars and restaurants and more apartment and condo options to choose from.
