Can anyone tell me what time I need to get to the East and/or West Falls Church metro station in the morning in order to be assured of a parking space? I would be doing this July 20-24. Thanks.

Not sure about the West Falls Church lot but the East Falls Church lot is REALLY SMALL and I'm sure you what have to be there with the sunrise to be assured of getting a spot.

JfromReston is correct; East Falls Church only has a little over 400 spaces, but West Falls Church has surface lots plus a multi-story garage (about 2000 spaces total), so your chances are better there. There are always spots at 10:00 when reserved parking opens up to everyone, but if you need to leave earlier than that I'd guess that most of the spaces are taken by 8:00 (although it is summer, so commuter usage is a little lighter, but tourist usage is heavier).

LMAO! I actually had someone do that to me a few weeks ago at a parking garage in Reston Town Center! I normally walk over there, but the weather was inclement so I drove. I had a woman in a white Lexus sedan creeping up alongside of me for a full three minutes, including around two different aisles, as I searched for my car!
