We just recently moved to Ashburn late last month. While trying to get internet and cable set up at home Comcast advised us that they are out of HD DVR boxes and that they couldn't offer us the services. Further, they have no idea when they are planning to order more to satisfy the high demand. Has anybody else locally had this issue? Any suggestions? [/font][font=Verdana]Thanks in advance.

that's odd...I live in Ashburn and we have that...But I have to say I hate Comcast. We have it b/c it is a good price...I would call back and see if you can talk with another rep.

We had the same problem after Christmas and around the Superbowl. Yes, occasionally Comcast does run out of cable boxes. You need to either try a different store ...try going to the store in Manassas because they're always stocked with HD boxes.

They're always running out of stuff over there, which is bad news considering that FIOS is now an option...when they came to install our cable (last year), the guy shows up 1 hr. LATE, with 1 cable box and NO REMOTES! I sent him packing. So if you can swing it, I'd head over to Manassas to get one.
