I would like to keep it below $1100... anywhere from Falls Church to Reston, Herndon, Sterling and Leesburg...

Any help is greatly appreciated.

You won't be under $1100 here, but I used to live in Potomac Towers. It's a ten minute (or so) walk from Courhouse Metro off of Lee Highway in Arlington. 8 years ago (ack!) when I lived there, I paid $885. Rent has shot up since then.

I think it's possible to find a studio or efficiency in NOVA; it just may require a bit of searching.

If you're open to (near) Alexandria, I believe Belle Haven Towers offers studios/efficiencies under your max. It's near the Beltway as well as the Huntington Metro station. Not exactly a social hotspot (if that's important) but you're close enough to Old Town Alexandria as well as anywhere that you'd want to go on said Metro.

Default Check out Camden apartments

My daughter lives in a Camden apartment near the Fair Oaks Mall (the one with the horse) and she has what they classify as a studio with a loft. She actually ended up using the loft for the bedroom and it works out quite nicely. Lovely apartment, cathedral ceilings, very spacious. Not sure what she pays, but they also have smaller, more typical studios as well. Good luck.
