Currently (5pm EST) says it would be 16 minutes from Tysons to Arlington.

Drive Time Now 16 mins @ Speed Limit 16 mins Delay 0 mins Avg Speed 35 mph Distance 9.3 mi
Seems dubious.

Traffic.com is good at reporting traffic but it's not very good at predicting it. Traffic at 5pm might be clear, but by the time you get to those roads at 5:05pm, you're screwed.

Not to me. I drove from 495 to Arlington in less time than that at around that time of day.

I was recently driving and talking with a friend who was at home, giving me the blow-by-blow Traffic.com updates for various areas that I would encounter traffic as I was nearing the areas. That site was worthless. No traffic reporting site or station can cover everywhere, even WTOP misses some stuff, but the site was just way off base on everything, which is a shame, because I really wanted the site to work.
