What are the best subdivisions to live in Crown Point? We are looking to be around friendly, young families with children. Also, looking for newer subdivisions within the CP school system. We were hoping to find a community with a pool and a playground, but were only able to find Pentwater. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!

Okay, seriously, knock it off.

We get that you LOVE CCHills ... but jeez, let it go.

And there is no way that CCHills can compare to Crown Point. Crown Point would win in most every category - from safety, to quality of life, to schools - hands down.

To answer the OPs question, the only community in CP that immediately comes to mind is Lakes of the Four Seasons.

On the Lake County side, I believe the lower grades are Winfield schools with the high school being Crown Point. The Porter County side (LOFS is spead over two counties) is Boone Grove schools.

Here's the communities website: Lakes of the Four Seasons

I don't think she could do anything unless she is a MOD.

Thanks for the info. Maybe after the economy bounces back, a master-planned community can be built in CP. (That is what I left behind in FL when I moved back here in April '09). I would also love to see some upscale shopping somewhere in NWI. Thanks again!!!

There's an area called Southlake not too far from CP.

Southlake Mall is not considered upscale shopping.

Sorry. The thing is, I live near River Oaks, so to me SL is upscale.
