Okay, some of them are big houses as well. But nontheless, quite a bit of housing in general up in the hills...as opposed to the many condos/apartments that aren't so much in the hills.
I suppose the land is quite valuable...but even modest housing up in the hills...probably incredibly high costs? Or somewhat reasonable...slightly? Reasonable for Honolulu, meaning possibly find something up in those hills for half a million? (Not that I could afford that either, but just curious)...
Anything in the hills above metro Honolulu would be well in excess of half a million. Maybe a very small (800 sq. ft.) cottage with no view would be 500-600 thousand but hard to find. Maybe Alewa Heights above Kalihi...
