There are more requirements than connected development, so even if we agreed on the contiguous development, that would not be enough.

So, what you are really saying is the census is reality.

We are on the same page. People can believe whatever they feel like.

I'm saying it's the only reality that counts in this case. The census decides, even if no one likes the decision.

The census decides what? CSA/MSA? I never made an argument for that. Can you get beyond the census?

To clarify, once again, the two MSA are contiguous, not development. The urbanized areas published by the census bureau show this plainly.

...so, at this point in this impartial and balanced debate about an Ohio "anchor city," it's time some conclusions were made...

(1) Columbus is Ohio's anchor city--providing one is referring to either "Central Ohio" or the number of cows, cornfields, college football players, and crooked politicians that reside within the city limits;

(2) Columbus is destined to become Ohio largest metro by 2020--providing that Cincinnati and Cleveland are each: a. stricken by plague or pestilence; b. decimated by an asteroid; or c. overrun by zombies;

(3) Columbus is surpassing all other Ohio cities in immigration and job growth--providing that one is referring to the number of recent Somali immigrants and new Somali cab drivers within its city limits;

(4) Nighttime satellite photographs of Cin-Day are not be trusted because they have all been altered, through Photoshop trickery, to represent what's not really there;

(5) The key to reality is the manipulation of MSAs, CSAs, USAs, etc., in order to achieve a BSA (i.e., the most concentrated and highest form of what was once labeled BS).
