I have a question that's probably the opposite of what usually comes up with regards to this subject. I'm interested in purchasing a house at the end of a dead-end street and there is vacant parcel that is being thrown in as well. The vacant parcel is just beyond the house lot and has minimal road frontage before the road dead ends. The Summit County property site says the lot is 50' wide (just enough to be buildable), but the road exposure is less than half of that, not to mention the parcel descends into a ravine about 50' back from the road. I can only qualify for one type of loan to buy the house, and this loan stipulates that no other buildable lots can be purchased along with the house, so I'm interested in getting this lot rezoned as unbuildable. Does anyone have any idea who I should contact with regards to this and whether or not it seems like a possibility? Any insight is appreciated!

Thanks!

Inquire with the current owner and the county recorder/auditor about having the lots merged.
