I was wrong, LOL. I was thinking of Packard Park & the trails that run along the river there (hopefully I have that right this time!).
So, I've never walked it before... how would you rate it? As you know, I have plenty of time on my hands to go exploring!!

Are you talking about the trails at Packard Park that take you from the West Side of town across the footbridge over the Mahoning River and into the park???? The River Walk is a paved trail along the river, it stretches from the Amphitheater downtown to Summit St. Usually what i do is park near the Packard Museum, walk down through Packard Park along the River, back up the hill out the exit, down Mahoning Ave on the sidewalks to the Power House Bar or whatever it's called. At the back edge of their parking lot there is a sign and you will see a staircase and walkway that takes you under Summit St. down along the River through Perkins Park and up to the Square. It's lovely! Here are some pics i took last year. BC33 I'll have to get some more pics this year!
I park behind here
Then i walk down along the baseball fields and tennis courts at Packard Park
Then once i circle the park i walk up a small hill on the other side of Packard Music Hall
Out the exit and down Mahoning Ave towards downtown
Here's the tail end of the River Walk near the Amphitheater... once you go through Perkins Park
Going up to the log cabin on the square

Yep! that was it, Packard Park. I really enjoyed the trails but had forgotten about them up until you mentioned River Walk... I'll have to head back out there one of these days. Thank you for posting the photos, it does look very nice! I'll put it on my list of things to do!
The Packard Museum is on my to do list as well. Have you ever been in there?

Guilford Lake State Park
Here's a few photos taken from my favorite fishing spot. The bass fishing here is amazing! This is where I can be found almost every weekend during the spring, summer & fall months... just off the spillway.
As an added note... there has been a high level of bald eagle activity in the area lately.

If you decide to fish here, be prepared to lose lures. What appears to be sticks is actually re-bar left over from the old dam. I've had run in's with this stuff more times than I care to remember & I have scars to prove it! (I'm not a big fan of losing $10.00 plus lures, call me stubborn)

Night fishing off the dam produces some amazing Catfish & large Crappie can be caught here as well.

The end of another beautiful day at the lake. This was taken from the parking area looking down towards the lake. Usually there's a picnic table or two placed here, providing a nice spot to just sit & relax.

Thanks for all your great photos, North. They are all really great! You too, Cort! These photos have some really nice settings, and great scenes.
North, where are the ones with the deep caves?

I didn't post them originally because it's so hard to tell what they are... but since you asked...
Below are a couple of the "Devil's Icebox" it was the most impressive cave IMO. Like I said, it's hard to photograph, I'll have to crank the exposure up next time around. The photos don't do it any justice at all.
