My family is considering to move to either Normand or Edmond, OK; would you please tell me which has the best job market (Human resources, IT, business operations, Executive Admnistration)? We also have kids in elementary, middle and high school ages; which schools are best? Safe and great environment with things to do...We are moving in January.
Thank you for your advise!

Both towns have great schools and are very safe, family communities. There's lots of stuff for families in both towns. Norman, of course, has OU, so if you are into things like big time college sports, its all there. The area around the university has the college town feel, which I really like, but once you get away from that part of town, it just feels like any other suburb, so if you want that, it's there too. I personally, live in Edmond and love it, but I'm sure I would have been happy in Norman as well. We moved here while our kids were in high school and we specifically chose Edmond because we liked the schools here. At the time we chose it, the schools here were ranked the best in the state. I don't know if that is still true or not.

As far as jobs, I have no idea which would have the most jobs. Norman is larger, but Edmond also has lots of businesses which office along the turnpike/Memorial drive which are technically in OKC, but generally considered to be in the Edmond area. If you worked in say, downtown OKC, I think the commute from Edmond is easier.
