Any one else go to the concert last night? All of the performers put on an awesome show! It was so freakin cold though afterwards walking back to the car!!! Plus I had to drive about 30 mph home due to the icy roads but it was totally worth it. Hope everyone made it home safe.

Cannot support an artist that uses our state to write a ridiculous song about flyover states.

You have a good point here. Aldean is the Vince Neal of country. I'm surprised he doesn't wear lipstick during his performances.

Yeh, give me the Outlaws any ol' day. There's no one out there that comes close to Hag, Waylon, or Cash, et al.

This "country" music they're doling out of Nashville these days is more like soft rock or some even have that R&B/rap junk in it. That's NOT country music. It's something else.

The current trends which Nashville is underwriting to reach a larger fanbase is alienating this ol' country fan. Maybe I'm just old and crusty and stuck in my ways. But that junk ain't country music. Give it another name because it ain't country.

I agree with you. Let's get back to our bluegrass roots and leave this pop crap in the dust.

I'm sure the Aldean fans here in OK held their lighters high and think that song is a compliment. I find it to be an inaccurate reinforcement of stereotype and an insult.

Not to mention it's really stupid song.

1. We aren't a cornfield state. We grow cotton and peanuts
2. How does he know the names of the towns when he is looking down at them from an airplane?
