Plan to switch credit unions, have looked around and none of them seem to offer many benefits either in rewards or other perks.

I said "local" just in case someone replies back with "Bank of America"...

I use Arvest, Coppermark, and BOK. In the past used First Fidelity and IBC. Probably like Arvest and Coppermark the best but it is because I have personal relationships at both places.

Makes a big difference when you get to know some of the people.

I live in Tulsa I use BancFirst. I am very happy with the customer service and the checking account options that were offered. I switched from BOK cannot stand those people.

Tinker Federal Credit Union. They don't offer perks. Instead you get zero fees. You generally don't get something for nothing. Banks that offer perks usually have fees attached to something.

The Allegence CU prerunner pointed out has great perks, 4.01% APY on your checking account if you make 12 bank card transactions and have a direct deposit and also reimburses ATM fees.

Many banks offer some sort of debit rewards, but I'll stick with my credit cards

I've bought 3 different cars using weokie credit union. They have always given me the best interest rates. The only tradeoff is usually I'm trying to get the deal done quick and they kind of drag their feet. But it's always worked out. I'd recommend them.
