The Divorce lawyers are jealous of all the malpractice money being made and they want to encourage as many divorces as possible........If we had good torte reform we wouldn't have as many divorces........

First, please stop spreading ridiculous lies where naive people can hear you. Torte reform isn't going to do anything for divorce rates.

The problem with making divorce illegal would deter people from getting married(which is bad). But I actually like the idea personally. I would rather there be fewer marriages, where people only entered them if they are ready to make an actual commitment, than the system we have where there are many people who get married many times in their lives, because it doesn't really matter. The average marriage lasts only 7 years, come on think of the kids.

The CBO proved today that the GOP highly overrated how much effect torte reform would really have. The GOP plan was proven to be more expensive than the dems plan.

Obviously you were being sarcastic in your first post and I somehow didn't notice. My sincere apologies.

Not a problem Red......I kind of enjoy the absurdity of life.....and the simplistic answers to complex problems put forward by our elected officials that continue to embarrass us. We have to make fun of them, can't be serious about it...........

Its "tort" reform, not "torte" reform. A torte is a bakery item, whereas a tort is injury law.
