Hello Frank! You are lucky!

Wife is retired, you live in Norman, and you're here!

Hey Frank!

I don't mean to be funny but do you have a dog? I met a lot of people by walking my dog and taking it to the park etc. Your dog is a natural conversation starter. Just an idea in case you've not tried it!

Very happy to hear from you. Keep posting my friend!

Hey Frank nice to meet you and welcome to our strange but fun group...LOL

A great place to meet people is through a hobby. I have a hobby that I do called Geocaching. More information is geocaching.com. Geocaching is like a high tech scavenger hunt. You download or just look up these caches and go out and sigh the log. I have meet a lot of really nice folks geocaching. And it is just a lot of fun.

Tecumseh is nice. It is on the southern end of Shawnee, so you can get the amenities of Shawnee without the population. We go through Tecumseh all the time as we are headed towards either the casinos or Norman.

Try Hamburger King when you get a chance, it's in old Shawnee.

I used to live in Tecumseh when I attended OBU in Shawnee. It seemed to be a nice, quiet little town. Glad you're here!

After I retired, I found the best way to meet people is to volunteer. Helping others brings you into contact with other like minded people of all ages.

IF you're a member of a Southern Baptist congregation, we in Disaster Relief could always use another hand in times of crisis. And the people you'll work with are just wonderful!
