Default Need Info About Weleetka

Hi all,
My family and I are relocating to Weleetka, OK and I would like to know if any of you live there or know anything about it. One specific question I have is do they have cable internet available? I hate to admit that I am a bit spoiled when it comes to my internet connection.

Thanks,
Mitzi

I would simply call the cable company with your address/phone number. I think if you live in town, you might be in luck. For those of us who are rural, its dial up or satellite.

I think you may be able to get Plainsnet there. It is broadband. I have it and it is pretty good.

We see Plainsnet advertised all over. I thought it was simply a provider like AOL. I will have to call them. PM me if you get any incentives for referrals. We are rural and thought satellite was our only option after ATT/yahoo broadband told us we live too far in the country.

Check with Gary Mask at Visual Lease Services in downtown Holdenville. He does the Plainsnet stuff. It really depends on your elevation relative to downtown Holdenville. In the summer when the leaves are on the trees we get a lot of interference. Now that the leaves are falling off, it works great. Next year we will probably elevate our receiver a few feet.
