Dear City-Data-Forum,
I would just like to thank you for all you've done for Britney and how you accepted her and did not ignore her when she made the mistake to lie. I would just like to inform you on something so if it occurs to not be alarmed or yet just dislike her. Ever since her parents have died (R.I.P) she has been lieing, telling stories to hide up what she is ashamed of. I've told her numerous times do not be ashamed of what happened and yet theres nothing to be ashamed of. She has a had a very diffcult time coping with the death or her parents. She had a very very very hard time when we took her from her grandparents home. Her grandparents are older and could not handle Hannah and we didn't want to split them apart. She was depressed for quite along time and is just finally getting out of it and i have to say what helped her the most was talking to you guys. I also felt some what good she told you about her parents death but im not excited that she lied about the rest. I remeber the day she actually smilied and looked happy and during that she was this forum. She also called me mom last night and i just feel that you guys helped in. I feel blessed that she found this board and has someone to talk to and hopefully in the near future she could meet you guys. Thanks for being like family to her.

Cali, you have a great foster mom there! The teen years are so difficult to begin with, and to have a tragedy such as you did at the same time can certainly be overwhelming.
I'm glad you posted Kathy's e-mail. We all love ya here, kiddo. And we look forward to the day we can all get to meet our little buddy.

Aw, Cali thank you for posting that. Kathy is a wonderful mom to you and you are a lucky young lady; so is she! We love you Cali; you're a good egg. Like redbird said, when I was your age - we won't even go there. Thanks for sharing Cali. You're special and so is Kathy!

Great minds think alike! For a moment I had the same thought as Redbird, wondering whether your step mom was single. She sounds like one nice lady. But then I remembered another thread where you talked about a step mom and dad. Oh well.
Seriously, Kathy sounds great. You and she are lucky to have each other, Cali_O, and folks on this forum are lucky to have you around to brighten things up and remind us of what's important.
