Yeah, when it gets that hot you'd be better off going to Six Flags over Texas...

Be careful what you wish for Oklahoma. I have lived in Texas the majority of life but have deep family ties in Oklahoma and spend time up there. I have noticed more and more corporations starting to invest some big money into projects in Oklahoma. Y’all don’t want to turn into another Texas. Where everything has become crazy populated and overpopulated. A tiny house cost $350k or more with sky high property taxes. I have been considering moving to Oklahoma in a few years just to get away from Texas because it has become so expensive and crowded.

Honestly, it sounds pretty darn ambitious. I mean, 2 billion dollars? That's some serious cash. I'm curious to see if they can pull it off. Excited? Yeah, sure, who wouldn't be stoked about a gigantic theme park practically in our backyard? But also, I can't help but feel a bit skeptical. You know, "believe it when you see it" kind of vibe. The town's gonna have a whole new vibe with something that massive dropping in. Infrastructure, traffic, jobs – it's gonna shake things up for sure. Let's just hope it's not one of those projects that gets all hyped up and then fizzles out. Fingers crossed

I lived outside of Houston for a decade near the coast. Went back to visit Houston in January. Both Tulsa and OKC have light traffic compared to Dallas or Houston. Much more affordable. Nicer people. Plus property tax rates are 1/3rd of Texas. Up where this theme park will was very affordable. That might change.
