Hello All, Me and my girlfriend are trekking cross-country this summer and we are going to be driving through Oklahoma on our way to Texas. We will be coming from Kansas City, Missouri. I'm looking for fun things to day along the way starting on Rt. 169, then to 44, and most likely 75. Some of the areas we will be driving through are Tulsa, Broken Arrow?, Muskogee, Eufaula Lake, McAlester, and Coalgate. Sorry to be so thorough but we're following a pretty detailed regiment. Thanks in advance for any replies.

Stop off in Claremore Ok. (off I-44 before Tulsa) and see the Will Rodgers Gun Museum. Gotta lot of interesting stuff. It's worth it

If you want some good ol' country cookin' in Coalgate, ya can't miss it...just drive thru town and you'll see the sign.
