Here is more proof that Omaha is still a Redneck Town at heart. Just think after all these years I still come up with photos like this. Again the Christmas decorations are still up going on for four months after the holidays. This time it is at the gateway of the city 03/18/2011.

Even at night they still light up.

I was at Gallup on Friday for a seminar and I drove past there and was wondering myself why they still had the wreaths up. I think it's funny that they still light up. I wonder who is responsible for those? Maybe they just forgot about them.

What do Christmas decorations have to do with being red-neck? Now maybe if they were engines sitting on a bunch of empty Coors bottles...

Right. There's no trailer park involved, and no Christmas Tree made out of empty beer cans.

My god those things are hideous! I went by those in early winter before the first snow and thought they were piles of junk till I got closer. Can't believe what passes as art anymore.

Basically, you can take a S***, laquer it, give it a name and it's art.

True, True. Just don't get me wrong, I give props to Council Bluffs for trying. I just wish they had tried a bit harder.
