We drive by there usually every weekend, and never noticed it until last weekend- very nice! And closer than the one out at the mall-

Why would anybody be sinking money into a theatre these days? You can get a whole month of Netflix for the price of one movie ticket at a theatre.

Lol, that's totally true---we do have Netflix, and I love it- but it's nice to know that there is a theater much closer to us if we do decide to take in a movie- however...with most of the movies that have come out lately, I don't much think that will happen anytime soon-

Social Aspect. Watching movies at home is very boring to me. Plus, that's the only place you can see a movie right when it comes out.

What is social about it? It's still looking at a screen with no human to human interaction. I'll give you the instant gratification aspect, but I'm okay with waiting 2-3 months and not blowing all that money.

Sorry- I go with friends. That's when it's social. Yeah, If people didn't have friends to go with it'd be pretty useless, and they might as well just put new movies straight out on DVD.

It's a nice looking place, I'll probably go there soon with my friends.

Drive In theaters were truly social events. Maybe a large screen TV and a DVD and your own home theater is even more "social". Ain't progress wonderful?

Well it's the only 'legal' place to see a movie on release day. Some are 'leaked' days to weeks early.

There are a few movies every year that the Missus and I go to as a special night out. Some are just better on the big screen, with the cool sound and all. We plan on making "Narnia" one of those nights. Maybe we'll have to head to this place.
