Hey everyone... I traveled to Omaha yesterday, and got back today.
I will say that I've been to Omaha quite a few times...
But, this time I spent a lot of time traveling through the neighborhoods. I fell in love...
I'm going to Bellevue University, starting in January... to finish my education with a Bachelors.
You guys have a good thing going... I'm excited to call Omaha/Bellevue home before the end of the year.

Welcome to Omaha! We're glad to have you! You come from Sioux Falls? That's my second favorite place in the country!

Wow, thanks everyone!... I wasn't expecting so many postings! And Dave, I drove through Papillion on my recent trip... Was really impressed... Especially Shadow Lake. I'm still looking at apartments. The ones I was interested in Bellevue have a reputation of having cars broken into. Royal Oaks on Galvin Road, just a few block south of Bellevue University... I toured them... They seem decent, but the car break-ins worry me. I saw a bunch of nice looking apartments on the southside of Highway 370, west of the Kennedy Freeway... I'll have to do some more research...
Ehenningsen, It's good to talk with you again! You've left some great feedback in the SD forum.

Good luck with your move, and welcome! I really can't wait to visit Sioux Falls next year.

But if your worried about car break-ins, Papillion and La Vista aren't to far away

Thanks, Go Ne... I like Bellevue, they have some beautiful areas... Especially in that forest area on the east side. The drive can't be too long if I find an apartment in Papillion or even La Vista...
Unfortunately, I'll have to take out loans from a bank. My dad recently retired from farming.... and that doesn't look good to FAFSA... Luckily, I have the parents who will help me with whatever comes my way.

If you have any good apartment complex recommendations on the eastern side of Papillion/La Vista, I'm interested!

Well, it still won't be to far even on the West sides of Papillion and La Vista, they both are only about a mile wide
for apartments in Papillion
Papillion Apartments for Rent - Find Papillion, NE Apartment Rentals"
for apartments in La Vista
La Vista Apartments for Rent - Find La Vista, NE Apartment Rentals"
there are way more in La Vista

Cornhusker road runs right west to east through Papillion and leads straight to Bellevue University.
