I think Downtown in general is my favorite tourist spot. It covers a lot of basics.

Agree with DTO_Luv... its the variety of things coming together, whether its the Old Market, a drive over to one of the Museums, a night out at one of the performing arts places, a walk at the river front....

Besides downtown and all it brings together, the next would be Rosenblatt and the enviornment during the CWS.

Followed by the small town events that occur in places like Papillion when they have their festivals and events.

I actually made this poll because im coming back home after 2 years away and want to visit some of this places I never visited when I lived there my whole life. It's strange when you move away and realize how much better some things are than where you are now. I live in Portland now, and the zoo here is NOTHING. I can't wait to be back. Im bringing my boyfriend who has never seen the midwest, he thinks im from a cornfield.

The Henry Doorly Zoo is (to my family) the best zoo in the United States.

Also voted for Durham, Joslyn Art Museum, Lauritzen Gardens, and Old Town.

Would like to add Fontanelle Forest, just a few miles south of Omaha. We enjoyed the art/sculpture walk in autumn and hiking there year-round. Beautiful facilities.

We miss you, Nebraska!
