Street cars won't travel out that far. It's just not cost effective and they're too slow. Street cars are meant to move people around busy, high density areas like Downtown and Midtown.

If you want service way out in West Omaha, you'll need a light rail system.

downtown and mid-town would be good.

maybe have it go to 72nd street and dodge at furtherest west.

The StreetCar Conspiracy

This link pretty much explains everything. Busses were never meant to be well liked or extensively utilized. It would be nice to have that option again, especially in the heart of town. There's a movie about it to that's really great. I think it's called, "Who Killed the Electric Streetcar."
