Those are so cool! Thank you so much for sharing!! I miss the submarines but they apparently are coming back.

We are visiting Disneyland next week so it was great to see these pictures of what it used to be like. We are actually taking the In Walt's Footsteps tour so I can't wait to hear about the history!

They reopened it three years ago with a "Finding Nemo" theme.

Yay! I didn't have time to my research. Still need to get my itinerary together. Thanks for sharing that!

We used to stop at Disneyland every Sunday before the game when the Rams were still in Anaheim.
Have lunch at Club 33 and then off to the ball game at Anaheim Stadium.. Haven't been there much since the Rams left...

Kinda the same with the "settler's cabin" pictured above and the unfortunate occupant. Over the years the circumstance of his demise has ebbed with the current social "awareness" of the time...

narration by the train conductor/engineer (?) long ago;

“Now, we’re heading into the true backwoods. Watch for Indians and wild animals near the water’s edge. This is the American West as it was a century ago. Our forefathers who tamed this great wilderness faced constant danger. And there, across the river, is proof—a settler’s cabin afire! The old pioneer lies nearby—the victim of an Indian arrow.”

interesting take at this site
