How bad is the 57 from Brea to Costa Mesa at around 7am?

How would it compare to Downey 605 to the 405 Costa Mesa at 7am? Just trying to get an idea.

Why would you want to live in Downey or Brea? Why not Costa Mesa, which isn't some crime infested or ultra expensive place to live in? Both commutes won't be much fun.

The 57 will be pretty brutal, and keep in mind that you'd still need to take the 57 to the 22 or the 5 in order to hit the 55 into Costa Mesa. I'd estimate easily 45 minutes each way, if not longer.

i didn't get the email that said downey is crime infested, hell it's better than a lot of areas in the oc, and we don't have white supremecists, and neo-nazis as costa mesa does.

well i know for a fact that brea is not crime infested. and also because most people who do not live in the area, assume that downey is ultra ghetto because of its location. truth being that downey is the BEST city out of its surrounding cities.

The routes you mentioned are some of the most congested in the county. EVERYONE is going south on the 605/57/55/405 in the morning.
