Even after all these years of living in other states, the native Rhode Islander in me is still irked when the third weekend in July (the average warmest weekend of the year in Rhode Island/New England--AKA "nicest") is a complete wash-out.

Then, I remind myself I'm being irrational because there will be many, many more weekends of glorious sunshine and warmth throughout the rest of the year.
