Maternity photographer in Laguna Beach area….. (home, yard, area) - Orange County - California (CA) - City-Data Forum

My husband & I want to cherish my pregnancy with some professional photos as a couple. edit: I’m barely showing a little bump now but I want to make an appointment for October. I don’t know how far in advance they may fill up.

So…any recommendations in the Laguna Beach area? Please don’t just give me a name you googled…just personal experience for yourself, friend or daughter. I have asked around to friends & ppl I know, but most of them did their photos out of the area or before they moved here. A few of them gave me local names, but when I looked at the websites, I didn’t like some of the photos. I was super

at how bad a couple were…because it’s the website!

I don't have a photog to recommend in Laguna, but I'd like to know the venue you are considering for the "shoot." (Just curious, that's all.)
Beach is nice, but that can be done anywhere. Gotta babbling brook in mind? Forest of oaks?

I’d like to do the ocean view & private beach by our home…but I have to think about access so IMO, it can’t be done anywhere. The area I’m thinking is picturesque & beautiful for engagement photos but narrow & steep steps might not be super easy to navigate when I gain 20 or 25# in my abdomen for maternity photos! This is my first pregnancy so I don’t really know what to expect personally, but it can throw my body’s center of gravity off AND the release of relaxin too.

So…maybe in our home & yard with the views would be nice. That would make it easy for a clothing change. Some with a bare bump 2 piece bathing suit or in our home for bare bump shots or a “covered up” nude AND then a dress too. They are all super common in maternity photos I’ve seen.
