Hello All,

My name is Swaroop.
I am a graduate student.

For my project purpose I require historical and real-time traffic data of different freeways in OC.

Can anyone provide me any source to collect the traffic data for freeways like 57, 91, I-5 and many more ?

Waiting for reply.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

SWAROOP

I'm almost certain I saw data files on the internet at some UC Berkeley data source.

You can get less refined data on maps.google.com

I use this for realtime conditions:
abc7.com: KABC - Orange County Traffic - Local LA, Southern California Traffic - Traffic Cams

You may also want to contact California's Department of Transportation (Caltrans), District 12:

Caltrans District 12

As a public agency, their data is public record and I imagine you would be able to obtain the information you're looking for without any significant problems. You will probably have to notify them in advance of your request to give them time to find the records. You may even be able to have them e-mail you the file information.
