I diligently searched the internet and the threads for this but didn't have a lot of luck.

Trying to get a map of what parts of southern Orange County are non-developable: Open Space, state and county parks, land conservancy, federal land, etc. I suspect a lot of these types of land are controlled by different organizations: federal, state, county, private, etc. which may explain why it is tough to get this on one map: nobody has merged maps from multiple data sources together.

In the Conejo Valley (Thousand Oaks area) we had COSCA Conejo Open Space and Conservation Agency and SOAR Save Open Space and Agricultural Resources.

For example, from Google Earth, Ladera Ranch seems surrounded by undeveloped foothills. It isn't obvious that an entire new subdivision, or even worse, industry, commercial, or retail wouldn't be constructed there. I get the feeling it won't be but how would someone find out?

Similar question for the land north of Dove Canyon Drive and east of Bell Canyon Drive in Rancho Santa Margarita?

Also the land north of Trabuco Creek and north of the 241?

What about all the land that surrounds Tesoro High School and north along the 241?

What's off limits to development in these areas?

This graphic below isn't specifically related to my questions above but it is interesting:

Directly East of Dove Canyon is Bell Canyon, which is situated within the protectorate of Casper's Park and the Cleveland NF. There's also an Audubon reserve back up that canyon.

The land North of Dove Canyon Dr is, for the most part, developed/developable until just before the Joplin truck trail. After that it's straight up and down followed by NF.

Speaking of this, does anyone know what is going on right off the 241 at Oso? All of the grass on one of the foothills right by the offramp to Oso Parkway is missing, perhaps for paving?? Does anyone know what they are planning to do there? Thanks.

Yes, this is good, thank you; and I had been to that public works website and played telephone tag with them yesterday.

This below is pretty inclusive:
