Contact the AMA (American Medical Association) and ask for a referral. Or contact OC Hospitals. They may be able to give referrals.

Good luck.

See, this is SO BAD with the current health care system and it makes me so sad to hear this. Even third world countries offer better options to their citizens. Just pisses me off... The reason many clinics wont accept Medical is because Medical is so poor on reimbursing them and can take months, so they have out of pocket expenses to treat people. Some clinics have told me they basically have to chase their payments. Its difficult for the clinics.

This is NOT how people should have to carry on worrying about basic health services. I hope Obama can pull through his insurance reform. There will never be any nationalized medicine unless the entire taxation system is redone - which simply is not going to happen. At least not for ages. But if at least the insurance policies are under stricter laws to make it illegal for insurance companies to screw people, have exaggerated premiums, exaggerated deductibles, or deny insurance, at least it would help a great deal to many people.

she needs advise about an OB, not a lecture on the pros and cons of nationalized health care.

I didn't know free speech is only reserved to you, and you are the only one on this forum that should voice your (frequent) opinion.

free speech is exactly that, but she didn't ask about our views on socialized medicine, she needs a doctor, cut and dry. That is all she asked.
