Does anyone know of some good hotspots in Orange County? The online directories are no good. The few I tried had none of the hotspots I use regularly.

They are, but I'm looking for more.

For example - two of the hot spots I use every day are at a frozen yogurt place and an independent coffee shop (mom and pop Star Bucks) and neither of them are in a directory of any kind. Also, a local burger place had it and I found it accidentally. No sign or directory entry.

There are probably tons of these all over the place. Does anyone know of any good ones?

Between Starbucks and McDonald's, you're never more than about 100' from a free hotspot. How many more do you need? Maybe you should think about going cellular if you need that much coverage.

Use one of the online tools and verify by telephoning the establishment. I had to drive from Agoura to SNA airport for an 11 AM flight so I left early to beat traffic, found a coffee place with wifi in Fountain Valley and went online for free until it was time to head to the airport. I even arranged to meet another CD poster there. It was fun.

Those locations are great. I was just hoping someone might know of a few out of the way places that offered free WiFi.

I don't drive. I take the bus everywhere I go and I'm not always within 100' of a McDonald's or Starbucks.
