Housing is VERY tight in Corvallis because of OSU.

I've read that housing is cheaper in the Applegate Valley and someone posted that there is a hippy / art community there. Is that an option?

Corvallis? They have high tech jobs and the highest rate of patents in the US. Bend also has emerging high tech jobs and lots of patents.

Talent is next to Ashland and has cheaper housing . . .
