Yep, 80 mph is a good speed for cars. Trucks and anything else being towed should be limited to 60 mph in the right lane only.

The problem with that is the 20-25 mph difference, which is huge at high speeds. When a truck pulls left to pass a slower vehicle, the cars have to jam up, creating a possibility of rear-enders.
Tail-gating is the real problem.
