Well, I hope this will be a once in a lifetime thingy. Would be a shame if they start picking apart the National Forests-

If you click on item location, you can see this building is not on Natl. Forest land. It is just a building they don't need.

It's over 38 acres.

This explains this type of sale (it's not a new thing, btw). Not really anything to worry about imo.

That article is not reassuring. We are selling it off very slowly, so won't even notice. But your grandchildren will, when they realize they don't have any public lands left.

I don't think you need to worry about the selling off of public lands, if anything, you'll have to worry about the acquisition of public lands under the auspices of the Wildlands Project.

This is a link to the proposed mapping for the Wildlands Project. All areas marked in "red" are labeled "no human use" areas marked in "Yellow" highly regulated use. As you can see by the map almost all of Oregon will be "no human use to highly regulated use". If you live in any of the red areas, you'll have to move, if you live in any of the yellow areas, you will be restricted as to where you can live and where you can go.

Why would I worry about that? It sounds great.

Glad to hear you are happy about moving to Portland. All we need to do is get you environment destroyers off of the Oregon Coast. As soon as there are no people there, things will return to normal.

I live in the buffer zone. So I would stay right where I am. I vote: YES.

Googling this for info, the only websites I can find are fringe sites also big on pushing "Agenda 21" nonsense. Do you have an actual, factual link?
