We're moving to Roseburg this June and currently looking for houses. Which would you say is the best area to live? Great, safe neighborhood and good school.

So far, we have seen good houses in Rocky Ridge and a new subdivision called Eagles View Estate (Sharon Ave.) online. We just don't have any idea about the areas.

Any informations about Roseburg would be greatly appreciated.

THANKS!

Default Best areas in Roseburg

Hucrest and Melrose areas are my favorite. Hucrest is by the YMCA on Stewart Parkway. Melrose is vineyard country. From I-5 go west on Garden Valley Blvd until the road splits. Both directions are beautiful.

Sutherlin seems popular because of cheaper houses. It's about 15 mins. north. But I would rather live in Roseburg.

I prefer south towards Myrtle Creek, then drive to Roseburg. Winston has a development that is pretty good there. I know a few folks who live there and like it.

Welcome to Roseburg! You will love it here. Our son went to Eastwood Elementry School and it was wonderful. I was nervous because it was the first time we've had him in public school, but it was GREAT. The teachers there are all super! This year he's going t JoLane ( middle school) and so far it has been very good as well.

Eagles View Estates is a beautiful Subdivision, the houses are top notch and the neighbors are all great.

Default New neighborhood

I live in a new development called sunset subdivision. Brand new housing and lots are being bought. Follow Stewart parkway east until it ends on Alameda, take a left on sunset. Google sunset subdivision as well. Buildings made by Tabor Building in Roseburg. MJ
