Default Corvallis allergies

We are considering moving to Corvallis after having visited it last month. However, there were a few comments made to us about allergies. Apparently the burning of the agricultural fields is bad for asthmatics in late summer. Do you know of any pollens or other allergents which occur at other times of the year? Thanks for any info offered.

~dust~ is on a distinguished road
That area of Oregon grows more turf than any other place in the U.S. of A. Ya got pollen, ya got dust, ya got bugs, ya got spraying, ya got the smoke at the end of it all.

Not many are allergic to the various pine and fir "blooms" but a few are.

Ya got molds and mildews. Ya got a billion zillion cubic tons of blackberries rotting, LOL.

If you're not allergic to any of that, though, you'll be fine. I was.

The pine trees blow all their pollen in the spring and the yellow stuff gets in your eyes and covers everything with the fine powder.
