In Southern Oregon, the men open doors for the women. If I EVER catch my son not opening a door for a lady ... well ... he WILL hear about it. Not only that, if you are driving down the road, here, you'll be wondering who ARE those people that keep waving at you. If you're stuck in the ditch or have a flat tire, you'll have help before you know it. During winter, my husband and son both carry a chain and a shovel in their pick-up. They DO stop to help, whether it's a guy or a gal in trouble. YEP ... we're plumb friendly, here!

When the ladies WIN in the casinos the men hold open the doors so they can carry out their loot.
